The DSOBS (Doon School Old Boy’s Society) which celebrated its Platinum Jubilee in 2014, exists to bring together and support Doscos in India and around the world once they have leave Chandbagh. Old Boys are also generous in their ongoing support for the school and its development plans. The DSOBS has been a thriving and active association since its inception in 1939 and is recognized as the most powerful and influential alumni associations in India, and one of the strongest in the world. The President of DSOBS is a special invitee on the Board of Governors. The Doon School Old Boys Society (DSOBS) is responsible for the following publications:
- The Rose Bowl: The Old Boys magazine
- The Dosco Record, the most recent edition being 2013
They have created a memorabilia store online and supports the Doscobilia Store at school that features many of the items.

The President and members of the DSOBS Executive Committee induct the SC Leavers at school annually in March as the boys are about to finish school. Boys pay a lifetime subscription for membership of the DSOBS on leaving us to endure “An Aristocracy of Service”
There are many alumni chapters in India and around the world. Those in India include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Indore and, of course, Dehradun.
Overseas chapters include the US, UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Australia, and Oman.
The chapters meet regularly for social occasions, large and small, and to welcome newcomers to their geographical region. This includes boys who have just left the school and who have arrived to start their university studies, either at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
They receive a copy of the Old Boys Directory which gives them the contact details for each region.
