General Comments

The course is aimed to provide a basic understanding of the media and method. Students explore all the mediums to give expression to their ideas and create a variety
of art work within a specific set of methodology. In D Form, they work mainly on developing their drawing skill.

In C Form, emphasis is on helping boys develop their skills and learn material handling. In this Form, students are also introduced to Digital Media, especially
Photoshop.

General Comments

Candidates will be required to practice sketching, painting, drawing, etc., in preparation for the examination. They will also undertake practical work on any of the topic suggested above. The practical work of the candidates will be assessed by the teacher as course work. The teacher is free to assess the course work either on the basis of continuous assessment or on the basis of periodical tests.

The candidates must submit at least one and not more than two example of craftwork which they have executed during the school year from any one of the craft from the above mentioned categories. Further evidence of study in the form of working drawings, small notebook, or photographs may also be submitted.
