In the U.K.

Through the Doscent Trust.

The DOSCENT Trust in London was set up by the school in 1985 to receive donations at the time of the School's Golden Jubilee. The Doon School English Charitable Trust(DOSCENT Trust) is registered as a charity in England and Wales (Registration Number- 290238). Benefits on donations can be obtained on amounts received from individuals and companies.

Individuals can make donations under a Gift Aid Scheme, and the charity can reclaim tax at the basic rate of tax. Gifts made by individual donors must be from their own money, and they must pay or have paid sufficient UK tax for the same tax year as the donation is made, to cover the repayment that will be claimed by the Charity. The bank details of the trust are as follows.

In India

For contributions made in India, exemption under 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 is available. Please declare your PAN if you want to claim this tax benefit.
