Kamla Jeevan Inter School Hindi Debates

The Doon School Organized the Kamla Jeevan Inter school Hindi Debates from 8th to 10th september 2017. In this contest 12 teams participated including Daly College Indore, Mayo Girls’ college Ajmer, Lawrence school Sanawar, The Sanskaar Valley School Bhopal, Gems Modern Academy Dubai, Birla Public school Pilani, Welham Girls’s , Welham Boys’ , Unison World, Wynberg Allen and The Doon school. The Final round was won by The Doon School team comprising Abhyanshu Utkarsh, Mihir Gupta and Shikhar Trivedi by speaking for the motion ‘ Cinema is the image of time’. Daly College Indore team was the Runner up of this contest. Abhyanshu Utkarsh declared the Best speaker of final round and Ishan Jain of Daly College Indore was declared the Overall Best speaker of the contest.

The judges of the finals were Mr Girish Gururani editor of the Hindustan, Mr Diwakar Bhatt editor Adharshila Publication and Mr Prakash Lakshora Administrative officer Indian Institute of Statics. The debate of organized by the Hindi department lead by Dr.Manoj Pandey, Dheeraj Upadhyay, Dr. Hammad Farooqui, Mr. D.K Mishra & Dr. Arvind Shukla. The Chief guest Mr Matthew Raggett Headmaster The Doon School awarded certificate and trophies to the participants and encouraged them for their efforts and hard work.
