History Repeats Itself
In the JEDS vs SEDS Debate held last Saturday on the topic Women do
not need Special Rights, the JEDS team won the debate, opposing the motion.
This is the fourth time in a row that JEDS has pulled off this feat. The
following are the individual awards of the debate:
Best Speaker: Saurav Sethia
Most Promising Speaker: Shikhar Singh
2nd Runner-up: Akshit Batra
Fresh Appointments
K.P. Somaiah has been appointed the secretary of the Junior
English Debating Society while Vishesh Kochher has been appointed
recording secretary for the forthcoming year.
Pradyot Shahi and Vishal Sonthalia have been appointed
boys-in-charge of the Nature Club for the forthcoming year.
Akshay Dobhal and Vijai Atal have been appointed
boys-in-charge of the Science Society for the forthcoming year.
Shoumit Mukhopadhya and Pranay Agarwal have been appointed
secretaries of the Technology Council for the forthcoming year.
