Projects to support

Since 2000, the School has been working on infrastructure development at Chandbagh. The projects that the school has implemented include:

Major projects and campaigns:

  • A brand new Music School
  • Brand new junior boarding houses, called Martyn House and Foot House for D form boys
  • Numerous staff houses
  • New Sports Pavilion
  • Brand new 25,000 square foot Art and Media School and auditorium
  • New Headmaster’s Residence
  • New floodlit basketball and tennis courts
  • New water recycling and sewage plant
  • Completely re-developed Rose Bowl, including green rooms and storage spaces
  • Complete refurbishment and re-stocking of the Kilachand Library
  • Creation of South Garden quadrangle
  • Complete refurbishment of Jaipur House
  • Brand new houses for the Housemaster and Assistant Housemaster of Jaipur House
  • Introduction of teacher training with the iPGCE course from the Institute of Education

Smaller projects but of equal value to the boys in school and their parents:

  • A whole school programme to build new bathrooms and cloakroom facilities for all houses as part of the Development Plan’s commitment to the ongoing improvement of the boarding houses and the boys’ health
  • Ongoing commitment to a whole school approach to security
  • Ongoing commitment to re-stocking the Kilachand Library
  • Ongoing commitment to upgrading IT throughout the School
  • Ongoing commitment to refurbishing the Masters’ Dining Room and the Teachers Training Centre
  • Complete refurbishment of the Development and Alumni Relations Office.
