Mohammed Hammad Farooqui, B.A., Hindi, Garhwal University, M.A., Hindi, Garhwal University, Ph.D., Hindi, Garhwal University, B.Ed., has taught at Doon since1994. Before coming to Doon, he worked with the Uttar Pradesh government. In his spare time, he is a freelance journalist and creative writer for the print and electronic media. His interests include theatre, art, cinema, and social activism. He has thrice won the Best Director theatre award of the Uttar Pradesh government.

M.C. Joshi, M.A., Ph.D., Hindi, Kumaon University, M.Ed., has taught at Doon since 1979. His interests include swimming, soccer and hockey, Indian classical music, especially tabla, theatre, and trekking. He is also interested in community service projects and has done Round Square and other projects in Himachal Pradesh and in the Garhwal hills of Uttaranchal.

Devendra Mishra, B.A. (Hons.), Hindi, M.A., Hindi, Calcutta University, B.Ed., has taught at Doon since 2007. Before he came to Doon, he taught at St. Paul's School, Darjeeling. His interests include cricket, swimming and writing short stories.

Manoj Pandey, B.A.(Sanskrit literature, Hindi Literature), Allahabad University, M.A. (Sanskrit), from D.A.University, Indore, has taught at Doon since 2004. Before coming to Doon he taught at Sanmati Higher Secondary School, Indore, Birla Senior Secondary School, Pilani, DPS Adityapuram, Chittorgarh. From 2004 to 2006, he taught at the Sarla Birla Academy, Bangalore. His interests include squash, reading, social service and music.

Arvindanabha Shukla, B.A., M.A., Hindi, Meerut University, Ph.D., Hindi, Chaudhury Charan Singh University, has taught at Doon since 1991. His interests include sports, mountaineering, writing, and social service.

Vidhukesh Vimal, B.A., M.A., M.Phil., Hindi, University of Delhi, B.Ed., has taught at Doon since 2006. Before he came to Doon he taught at Mayo College, Ajmer, and St. Francis Desales School, New Delhi. His interests include writing, poetry, cricket, and volleyball.
