The Doon School is hosting the 7^th Round Square Leadership Training Programme for Regional Round Square member schools of South Asia and Gulf Region between 26th and 29th October 2017. There are 9 schools and 55 participants of age 13-15 years old are participating in this programme. The aim of this programme to develop leadership skills among student. Leadership is one of the six pillars of the Round Square.

The Round Square is an international organization of more than 180 schools in more than 50 various countries which share a commitment beyond academic excellence to personal development and responsibility through service, challenge, adventure and international understanding. All these member schools are expected to play a full part in the responsibilities and activities of the Round Square.

To inculcate these qualities in a student, each Round Square school presents an array of service opportunities to its own students. The scope of activities is enormous ranging from support for the ill and the elderly to child care and the maintenance and rehabilitation of natural areas, to operation of life-saving or protective agencies.
