Sanjeev Mehra is a managing director and partner in the Principal Investment Area (PIA), the private equity investing arm of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York.  

Sanjeev is chairman of Hawker-Beechcraft Inc.  He serves on the board of ARAMARK Corporation, Burger King Corporation, First Aviation Services, Inc., KAR Holdings (Adesa), Sigma Electric and SunGard Data Systems.  He is a trustee of Trout Unlimited, Brunswick School and Oakham School, England and is a Fellow of the Foreign Policy Association.  Sanjeev is a member of IPSS and is a Director of Friends of Doon School in the U.S.  He graduated from The Doon School in 1975 and became a member of the Board of Governors of The Doon School in October 2008.

Sanjeev earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986 and his BA in Economics in 1982 from Harvard College.  He is a founding member of the South Asian Initiative at Harvard University.

Sanjeev and Karen have four boys and live in Greenwich, CT, USA.
