Doon School makes it four in a row.

The 33rd All India Afzal Khan Basketball Tournament (April 27–30, 2026, Uttarakhand) brought together 10 competitive teams, including two from outside the state, for four days of high-intensity basketball.

The semi-finals saw The Doon School face Welham Boys’ School, while The Asian School took on Wynberg-Allen School, Mussoorie with The Doon School and Wynberg-Allen advancing to the finals.

In a gripping final, The Doon School defeated Wynberg-Allen School, sealing their fourth consecutive championship win at the tournament.

Abhay Varma of The Doon School was named Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance.

Participating schools included:
Doon International School, Selaqui International School, The Asian School, The Scindia School (Gwalior), Wynberg-Allen School (Mussoorie), The Doon School (Blue & White), Welham Boys’ School, St. George’s College (Mussoorie), and Strawberry School (Chandigarh).
