The Doon School is delighted to announce that Ankur Bahl from Jaipur House, reached the summit of Mount Everest at 8am on Thursday 19th May 2016. His son Aarnav Bahl, who is also at The Doon School and in his father’s old House, was informed of his father’s success very speedily at school.

The Madison Mountaineering Team under the able leadership of Garret Madison, have been instrumental in this tremendous feat. The Doon School has a history of trekking and mountaineering and Ankur Bahl’s achievement has significantly added to the school’s reputation in this field.
