From the mountains of Manali to the high passes of Leh, 18 boys of The Doon School completed the 7th edition of the Manali–Leh Cycling Expedition, braving snowstorms, sub-zero temperatures, and some of the world’s most demanding terrain.

The expedition team comprised Ayaaz Ferozi, Aryaman Lamba, Teerthak Deewan, Parshad Kumar, Neer Charming Thakuria, Animaya Singh Deo, Udai Singh, Barun Borgoyari, Siddham Tater, Shaurya Surana, Keshav Kumar, Ishaan Bisht, Trijat Sah, Arnav Kharpude, Raghav Gupta, Naitik Joshi, Agastya Mehrotra and Aubin Mukherjee.

Escorted by Mr Manu Mehrotra, Mr Rajat Sabharwal and Dr Srinivas Swamy, the team pedalled across Sissu, Jispa, Patsio and Sarchu, crossing iconic landmarks including the Gata Loops, Nakee La, Whisky Nala, More Plains and Tanglang La, before reaching Leh. A visit to the serene Pangong Lake marked the culmination of an unforgettable journey.

Battling an unprecedented cold spell and a snowstorm, the boys embodied resilience, teamwork and the true spirit of adventure.
