Teachers' Housing

For six years a Dosco walks the pathways of Chandbagh and is secure in the knowledge that familiar faces surround him. Parents know that the same teachers will be present all through a boy's life and will know every nuance of their child and will guide him to be an honest and ambitious individual.

If our fundraising effort can give every teacher a comfortable, energy efficient, well furbished home, it is half the battle in maintaing the teaching standards of excellence that will keep The Doon School at the forefront of education.

Your Master Needs You Fund is an area of priority. Our immediate need is to build 5 new houses in the space south of Foot House. After that teacher housing has to developed in the area near Tata House.

Regreening of Campus

 An effluent treatment plant is under construction. It is located at the Southwest corner of Lower Skinners(where the cricket nets used to be). This plant will treat all the sewage and other water from campus and recycle it to water our playing field and gardens. The solid waste will be recycled after treatment as manure. The idea is to have a pop up sprinkler system on the Main Field and Skinners as well as watering facility for the other green areas. Hockey will actually be played on grass!!

We are looking for funding of this project too. The approximate cost is 1.5 Cr.
