Dear Parent / Guardian,
Thank you for your interest in having your son considered for admission at The Doon School. The Registration process is as follows:
The Doon School operates a strict age policy for each entry point.
- Class VII (D Form) – For entry into Class VII (D Form), a candidates must be over 11 years and under 12 years of age as of September in the year of the entrance examination.
- Class VIII (C Form) – For entry into Class VIII (C Form), a candidates must be over 12 years and under 13 years of age as of September in the year of the entrance examination.
Please Note – Boys who did not pass the admissions test on their first attempt in Class VII are permitted to appear for the test again in Class VIII, but boys are also welcome to sit the admissions test for the first time in Class VIII itself.
All boys compete on an equal basis for the places available.
You may register your son any time after his birth.

Registration does not guarantee admission.
IR (Indian Resident) registration fee includes a charge of Rs. 1000 for the registration form.

Step 3) To Submit the Offline Registration Documents
Scan and email the following documents to the Admissions Office at: admissions@doonschool.com
- Completed Registration Form
- Your son’s Birth Certificate
- Fee Payment Receipt
The Doon School academic year typically begins on the 01st of April, with a Summer Vacation from 20th May 2025 till 13th July 2025 and Winter Vacation begins on 30th November 2025 till 31st January 2026.
Once we review the complete application, you will receive an email informing you about the further instructions.
