Entry to Doon

The Doon School seeks exceptional boys with strong academic abilities, outstanding character, and talents in sports, music, culture, and leadership. We admit boys into Class VII and Class VIII only, ensuring a close-knit community that thrives academically and beyond the classroom.

The Doon School follows a holistic curriculum known as The Doon School Curriculum (for classes VII & VIII) designed to nurture intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development. Our academic program is rooted in the ICSE – Indian Certificate of Secondary Education – (for classes IX & X) and the ISC – Indian School Certificate & IB -International Baccalaureate (for classes XI & XII), preparing students for top-tier universities both in India and abroad. Beyond academics, our students participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, drama, and leadership development, ensuring a well-rounded education.

Admissions Process:

1. Registration: Register your son for the admission test latest by 10th July 2025 by filling the Registration Form.
2. Pay Registration Fee: The fee is non-refundable and follows a sliding scale — register early to save.
3. Submit Required Documents:  You will be asked to upload your son’s Birth Certificate and Registration Fee Payment Receipt
4. Admission Test: The admission test will be held on 10th August 2025 at various centres across India and abroad.
5. Personal Interview:  Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview to further assess their suitability for The Doon School.

Once we review the complete application, you will receive an email with payment receipt and further instructions.
